2-Ingredient Protein Waffles

Anyone else remember mornings when you were young and rushing to get ready for school? I was never one for breakfast- boy, did that change. But, I do remember it was always a good morning when my mom had some Eggo's waffle waiting for me when I got downstairs. One of my favorite things to have breakfast now, or any meal for that matter, are these 2 ingredient Protein Waffles. They honestly taste so good that my boyfriend doubts me when I say how healthy they are! All you need is:

  • 1 scoop (~30 grams) of Whey Protein (My Favorite is a Cinnamon Roll Flavor by Bowmar Nutrition)

  • 1 Egg

  • 1 teaspoon of Baking Powder

Just simply mix all ingredients together, then cook in a waffle maker. I use a mini waffle maker and it yields roughly 3 mini waffles. I love topping these with Walden Farms Pancake Syrup, which is 0 calorie pancake syrup alternative.


Nutrition/Macros: 9 grams of Carbohydrates; 7 grams of Fat; 28.5 grams of Protein (yes, 28 grams of protein for waffles!!)
